Young Entrepreneurs Network (YEN), is a brainchild of the Masterpiece Resource Development Centre (MRDC). YEN was established in 2008 “to raise an entrepreneurial community that will engage, connect, synergise and network with one another so that their businesses will become successful, sustainable and trans generational.

The Young Entrepreneurs Network was launched on the 17th of June 2009 and alliances were created with other business. The network which started with two members has grown to a strong network of about 100 entrepreneurs who are active in their different areas of enterprise. The network also provides one on one business development counsel and consultancy to its members. This interesting and working template is presently been used to consult for different organizations such as National Association of Small and Medium Enterprise Lagos State Chapter (NASME), South west Catholic Diocese to mention a few. The network also organizes different programs to develop and expose its members and these include: monthly meeting tagged ‘Business Out of the Box’, annual conference where we have hosted various top speakers and entrepreneurs such as Mrs Adenike Ogunlesi (C.E.O Ruff n Tumble), Tara Fela Durotoye (C.E.O House of Tara), Mr Tonye Cole (C.E.O Sahara Group), Mr. Frank Aigbogun (C.E.O Business Day), Mr. Abiola Popoola (President CIPM), Austin Okere of Computer Warehouse Group, Mr. Dapo Adelegan (C.E.O PR Africa) to mention a few. In an attempt to further promote the spirit of enterprise among young children, YEN Business club was established to catch teenagers early in Secondary schools in the country such as Grange, Dansol etc.”
